Welcome to the Ft. Dix Media Center!

I'm proud to serve as the Librarian and Innovation Lab teacher here at Ft. Dix Elementary School. In addition to my role in the media center, I’m also an advisor for both the Anchored4Life program and the World Language Club.

Since 2002, I’ve been a dedicated member of the Pemberton Township School District Learning Community. A native of New Jersey, I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Rowan University and hold certification as a New Jersey Reading Specialist.

My mission is to support classroom teachers in their literacy instruction and to provide families with practical reading and writing strategies to use at home. Most importantly, I strive to inspire a love of reading in all students and help them become enthusiastic, lifelong readers. I believe book choice plays a key role in reading success, and I’m proud that our media center offers a vast and diverse collection of books to meet a wide range of reading levels and interests.

Our Innovation Lab, launched in February 2022, offers students the opportunity to engage in hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences. From circuitry to coding, students are encouraged to explore, experiment, and create in a dynamic, tech-friendly environment.
