21st Century Community Learning Centers - Summer 2025 Program

  • The Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center Program is being offered for FREE to all current 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students attending the Busansky and Denbo-Crichton Elementary Schools. Students will have the opportunity to participate in many engaging clubs that will include interesting and interactive content. Our program theme is ‘Career Awareness and Exploration’ and will include clubs that support the following:
     
    STEM / Language Arts Literacy / Math / Sports Training / Art / Coding / Social-Emotional Learning and Character Education / Academic Learning Loss Content/ Computers and Technology and lots of other fun activities! Students may also have the opportunity to participate in mini-camps provided by community partners (more information about this will be forthcoming).
     
    The program will operate Monday through Thursday, beginning Monday, July 7th - Thursday, July 31st at the Helen A. Fort Middle School from 8:45 am to 1:45 pm.
     
    Breakfast, lunch, and bus transportation will be provided for FREE!
     
    All available openings will be filled on a first come, first serve basis for students who are currently in third, fourth, and fifth grades at Busansky and Denbo-Crichton Elementary Schools. Enrollment is limited; therefore, we ask that eligible students commit to the FULL FOUR-WEEKS of 21st Century Summer Programming. Please be advised, 21st Century Summer students will not be permitted to be dual enrolled in any other programs!
     
    To enroll your child, please complete the online Google Form application and submit it no later than Friday, April 18, 2025.
     
    If your child is enrolled in the 21st Century SUMMER program, a written confirmation will be sent out via email. Please reach out if you have any questions.
