We are excited to officially welcome you to the Newcomb Family! Thank you to the many families who attended our 5th grade parent night on June 11th. A few important reminders as you begin your summer journey and prepare to enter 6th grade at Newcomb Middle School:

1. Our Newcomb Spiritwear Store will close this evening (6/23/25) at 11:59pm! Order your spiritwear so you are “Newcomb Ready” for September by using the following link: https://kampusklothes.chipply.com/NEWCOMB  
2. Fall Sports Physicals: Any student interested in participating in Newcomb’s Middle School Fall Sports - boys' soccer, girls' soccer, field hockey, cross country and flag football - MUST have an approved physical turned into the nurse's office by Friday, August 22nd.  If students do not have an approved physical, they CANNOT tryout for the fall sports teams.  Parents/Guardians must also log into Genesis and complete the Athletics Forms Tab.
3. Save the Date: Newcomb’s Open House, Monday, August 25, 2025. Additional details will be sent to you as we get closer to this date.
4. Students have all been assigned Summer Assignments/ Summer Enrichment for both reading and math. Please click on the Grade 6 links for both summer reading and math to access their summer assignments. Students are highly encouraged to complete all assignments prior to the start of 6th grade!
